Hello Sarah, I have tried to reproduce your experience and have found out that it happens in multisite installations. It this the case for you, too?
No, it was a single site installation.
Yes, now I can see this effect on a single site, too. And it is not obvious under which circumstances this happens. Sometimes I can save the settings, sometimes not, even with the same widget.
I am keeping on debugging and will write again here.
I am having the same problem. Just installed on my single site. Tried on different widgets and neither would save the ‘end’ time. Upon clicking the “save” button, the check mark disappears and the ‘end’ time reverts to the current time.
I hope you can fix this as it could be a very valuable plugin for me.

The settings were stored correctly and had the correct effect on the frontend. But displaying them in the backend was not coded correctly.
The bug is fixed with the new plugin version 1.1. Now the settings are displayed correctly.
