I installed the plugin with no problem, added my API key when prompted. When I get to Step 2, this is the message I get:

“There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

I’ve reinstalled the program several times and deactivated other plugins to see if anything is causing the problems and I can’t seem to put my finger on it.

    Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

    I’m currently running:

    WordPress: 5.9.2
    WooCommerce: 6.3.1
    PHP: 7.4.26

    Hello @bestvaluemedical

thank you for reaching out to us, we will be happy to review this situation and try to help you out. We have not released any new version of our plugin and have not gotten more reports like this, so we expect this is being caused by your WordPress site or the environment you work in.

In order to review the situation, we would need to take a look at your system report, Zettle logs, fatal-error logs and possibly will ask you for a staging site to perform some tests on later on.

If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://zettle.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
(please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well)

    Pending your response.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

I have just tried this and have the exact same problem it just times out when adding the saving the API key.

    Hello,
I have just tested the onboarding process and I did not encounter any issue, so there is no issue on the server-side or with the plugin. A full conflict test would be always advisable (disabling ALL other plugins, except WooCommerce and Zettle, and replacing the theme with Storefront).
As said, if you want us to take a closer look, we will need more details on your environment.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hi,

    Hello @jesseslam

Cloudflare seems like a prime suspect for causing an issue where the JSON webhooks are being blocked, so the first thing you need to do is check is what is causing this 504 error and get it resolved. There must be a way that you can test your site without these types of errors. Maybe you want to test with a staging site, so you don’t affect your live site and can test more freely?
I don’t know how your site is set up, so it is hard to give you advice on it. If you want us to take a look, please provide us your system report and settle logs. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://zettle.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/
(please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well)
