• Hi
    Have a mostly built but inactive site that I hadn’t done any work on for a couple of months as I have been working on another project. Went back to start working on it again. Logged in into the admin and this is all I get… rows and rows and rows of the same

    Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use

    __construct()

    instead. in /home/{site name} /public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3457

    I’m assuming there has been a version update since I was last at the site but how do I update it when I can’t use the admin panel?

    The version was up to date as of a couple of months ago.

    Thanks

  • I’m having the same problem after upgrading to WP v4.3.0 and it’s either high memory or cpu usage that’s causing the problem. The Dashboard area just delivers a blank page instead of admin pages.

    I was able to alleviate this somewhat by disabling plugins that may put a higher load on the server than others. In fact I found that disabling WP SuperCache allowed me to access the admin Dashboard pages, I also had to disable WPtouch Pro.

    I moved both into a plugins-disabled directory after SFTP’ing into my server.

    Hopefully a v4.3.1 can be pushed out soon as many are reporting problems in these forums.
