Can't enable WordPress Multisite

    I can’t see the “Network Admin” link in the top righthand corner next to the log out.

    I have already added define(‘WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE’, true); as said at http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

    Seeing as I couldn’t find the link once logged in as Admin thought to try to navigate directly to mysite.com/wp-admin/network/ but I got this: “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    Hmmm…. thoughts?

    [it is a fresh install of the latest, nothing changed from default. Still even has the standard default “Hello World” content]
