    Hi, I can’t seem to enable product reviews on my site. This site was created by a developer I no longer work with.

    It is using the Flatsome theme. I already enabled reviews on the theme under appearance, I’ve enabled it on woocommerce -> settings -> products, I’ve enabled it on individual products under advance and I’ve checked that the site allows comments under discussions.

    I checked flatsome’s demo and they do have the product reviews, but mine doesnt show up. I tried changing the theme to see if it shows up and yes it does. So there must be some code somewhere that blocks it.

    Hi there!

    Looks like you’ve already done all the basic checks to allow product reviews.

    This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.
     
    The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Try to add a review on a product

    If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.     Thanks for the reply! It helped.

    I created a new child theme and copied all the same options, and for some reason that worked. So not sure what the issue was, maybe some cache or something
