Can’t edit the events page layout..

    Hi,

    When I list my event page named “live-events” in the page slug,
    It sets that page as the events page but I can’t edit the actual page design.

    For example I use siteOrigin to add some text to my page,
    When I view the page it only shows Events Manager calendar, not my text.

    Events manager sort of takes over the page?
    How do i edit the page like a normal page.

    In your events page, you see a notice at the top:
    This page corresponds to the Events Manager Events page. Its content will be overridden by Events Manager, although if you include the word CONTENTS (exactly in capitals) and surround it with other text, only CONTENTS will be overwritten. If you want to change the way your events look, go to the settings page.

    Apparently you have not used the CONTENTS to prevent EM from overwriting the rest of the content.
