can’t edit stylesheet

Hello,

I’m very new to wordpress and am using a template I bought. I wanted to have a look at the stylesheet to try to edit font size (following instructions from another topic post) but when I click on the style sheet or any other sheet for that matter all it says is ‘sorry, that file cannot be edited’. Any ideas what I need to do?
