• I’m trying to edit a Visual Editor field on my home page and it won’t load. Other pages are fine. I keep getting Google’s Aw Snap! message, and I’ve gone through their checklist. No luck. I’ve made sure that text in both url fields is lowercase, as suggested in another string. I’m at a loss. What next?

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    If that doesn’t help…

Can you post a screen shot of what you see before it snaps at you?

Put the image on imgur.com and paste a link here.

So I changed the theme to 20-12 and deactivated all the plug ins. Then I checked out the homepage. It told me that I had a missing widget. The one in question is Black Studio Tiny MCE. I re-installed it, and the page won’t load. I don’t know if that narrowed down the problem or not.

Black Studio Tiny MCE is fine. But I think we have a winner, or is that loser? Page Builder by Site Origin. I’ve got everything else up and the homepage editor is working just fine. I install Page Builder, and it won’t load. Vantage theme works fine too.

So my next question is: I rather liked working with Page Builder, when it was working. Can you suggest a viable alternative?

I’m not a fan of page builders. There are lots if you look in the plugin directory.
