can't edit gallery

    I have two sites running the same themes. The first sight I upgraded to 4.0 last weekend was working OK. The second site I upgraded yesterday. Now when I edit a post when I click on a gallery I no longer see the edit and delete buttons. I also do not see the read more divider. I checked all the files from the two sides and they are the same. I tried reinstalling 4.0 on the second sight and it didn’t make any difference. They are both running on the same server and the .htaccess on both subdirectories are the same. Apart from this I haven’t seen any other issues. What is wrong?

    try a few basic troubleshooting steps:
    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches.
    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fourteen Theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue.
