Can't edit anything in dashboard

    Hi,

    Incredibly new to wordpress and Im sure this topic has been covered but any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I’ve uploaded everything through Filezilla FTP and managed to log in to the dashboard.

    However, when i go to edit page, i can give a new webpage a title (ie. ‘home page’) but i cant type in the main body of the page, or select any of the editing options.

    When i try to upload a them, it has the option at the top of the them page to ‘upload them’ but when i click it, nothing happens.

    The only thing I’ve done in terms of editing the upload through FTP is delete the index.html so the 1and1 temporary page didn’t appear.

    Bit stumped so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sounds like a javascript error. Try using another browser or another computer. If the problem is still present on another browser or computer, it could be an error in your active theme or an active plugin – try disabling all plugins and switching to one of the default themes (ie. ‘twentytwelve’ or ‘twentyfourteen’.

    Ive just tried this on a different browser, disabled all plugins and changed themes, still having the same issue. really stumped!

    Any help guys would be greatly appreciated, im really stuck with this one! 🙂
