I am trying to test NextGEN to see if I want that plugin, I created a Gallery with only 3 pictures in it, and I added the gallery on a test page.

When trying to display the page nothing shows and I have this error in the source:
<b>Fatal error</b>: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3797 bytes) in <b>/--site--/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_data/class.ngglegacy_thumbnail.php</b> on line <b>562</b><br />

Php version is 5.3.28 if that matters. Not really sure why it crashes, the pictures are normal camera pictures (4-5Mb)

Everything is basic setup in the NextGEN, I haven’t touched settings.

Nevermind, going through the support forum, this plugin is way to unstable for my liking, going on to other ones.

@cmarois – The memory issue would most likely be sorted out by increasing the PHP Memory Limit in your server environment.

    Thanks!

@cmarois, Any plugins you use you will need to reduce significantly the size of the images, if you care the loading speed and the space on your server (and memory usage).
At least 25 times smaller (~ 200kb each).
