Can’t Delete feed.php

    If I delete feed.php from includes and remove line 339 from wp-settings, the blog does not load properly. all the other rss feeds can be deleted without problem.

    why can’t this file be deleted? more importantly why can’t you disable feeds from the dashboard..each upgrade requires hacking.
