Can’t deactivate ampcache

    When I try to deactivate ampcache I get an error because I’m using nginx not apache so there is no .htaccess file:

    An exception occurred: [ErrorException] [E_WARNING] file_get_contents(/var/www/thenameofmysite.com/.htaccess): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /wp-content/plugins/amp-cache/ampforwp-cache.php on line 411

    How can I resolve this?
