Sounds like you’re experiencing the same issues as https://wordpress.org/support/topic/paid-memberships-pro-conflict?replies=15 where we found out that PMP also has a post type or at least rewrite rules that matches “level”. If you could do something like “levels” or a variation, the conflict will likely clear itself.
Ok, I took your advice and I created the “Rank” achievement type.
This fixed the problem with PM Pro checkout, but now there’s a problem with the BOS Community Addon. Whenever a user earns a “Rank” achievement, it doesn’t appear in the Achievements tab of their buddypress profile, but my other achievement types do show up.
I checked the settings and it is set to show to the user.
Another weird thing is, when I checked this with a user that had no PM Pro membership level, the Rank achievement showed up on their profile.
Do you know what could be causing this?
I do not know what’s going on with that off the top of my head, and would need to dive deeper in to really get a good idea.
I tried to emulate but was not able to thus far. The ranks were showing up for both user levels. However, it should be known that I have zero experience with PMP so I may not have some settings accurate compared to your setup.
I’m really not sure what caused the issue myself, but the problem has been resolved after I updated to BOS 1.4.3.
Thanks for looking into this for me.
Whatever resolves the issue 🙂
Ok, I figured out that the update didn’t fix it. I have myCRED 1.5.4 installed and I realized that if I didn’t add a myCRED point value for the achievement, it wouldn’t appear in the user’s BP profile.
So just to clarify, you’re running two different badging systems at the same time? And for some reason, the BadgeOS achievements are not showing in the user’s BP achievements tab? Or both systems’ achievements aren’t?
Can’t say I know anything about myCRED’s code.
