It does not work for me in Chrome or Safari. Works fine in Firefox.
But I can’t assume that all my visitors us Firefox :/

Can you revert to a default WordPress theme – Twenty Twelve or Twenty Thirteen – and then see if you can post comments using Chrome and Safari?
I have tried that and it does still don’t work.

Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s). If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try deactivating via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides. If applicable, also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder. The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old.
Tara, it has been clearly stated in her first post that she disabled all her plugins. There’s no point in posting your generic message if that is the case.

I just updated my blog to version 3.8 and now the comments doesn’t work anymore.
When I try to submit a comment on my blog I get a 404 error; the page can’t be found.
I’ve tried the following;
disconnect from wordpress.com
disabled all plugins
edit .htaccess
re-installed wordpress 3.8
Nothing seem to work.
Anyone got any idea how to fix this?
