Can't autorize

    Today I noticed that the publish wasn’t publishing anymore.
    I came to the forums to see if anyone had something similar.
    Saw the mentions of FB API 2.3, and so I updated the plugin…
    Now, I can’t seem to autorize the app. I’m constantly getting a message saying I must enter the App ID and Secret Key, even though they are both there and saved.
    Can you help ?

    PS: I made another app on FB. So that I have a 2.3.
    I’m not really familiar with this whole app thing, so maybe I did something wrong ?

    old version not posting, new version ‘save’ -> ‘Authorize Now’ does nothing 🙁 and not posting

    Hello All,

    Can you please try to reset the plugin data from WordPress dashboard>Facebook Publish>General and try again.

    If it still fails then please send me your system information using ths plugin:

    Hello,

    I’m also having the same problem. I uninstalled the Plugin and re-installed the beta: Version 1.4.2. Created a Facebook App as per tutorial and everything looks good on the facebook side. Reset the WordPress Plugin, Added my application ID and Secret Key, but still getting the error message – ‘Facebook Publish: Please enter Application ID and Secret Key’.

    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    I really like this plugin but would appreciate some support for those of us that are still having trouble with it! Still won’t authorize.

    Hello all,

    I’m not been able to replicate the issue on my end, that’s why the problem hasn’t been solved. Can you please do me a favor by sending the debug information(recently added in 1.4.3 version) from Facebook Publish settings.

    I’m having the same problem. I just set everything up and it just keeps saying: “Facebook Publish: Please enter Application ID and Secret Key”

    The ID and key are there and saved.

    I ran into this same problem. Hitting the “Authorize Now” buttons does nothing. I think it has to do with PHP version.

    in facebook-return-handler.php if you comment out the wp_redirects and uncomment echo $e->getMessage(); you get hit with:

    The Facebook SDK v4 requires PHP version 5.4 or higher
