Can’t authenticate with Google

    I’ve tried wiping the settings multiple times and reauthenticating. I get conflicting notices afterwards on the same page:

    “Success: you have authenticated your Google Drive account.”

    and

    “Have not yet obtained an access token from Google – you need to authorise or re-authorise your connection to Google Drive.”

    The php version was 5.4, I changed it to 5.6 and still no luck.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    It is possible that there is conflict with the other plugins you are using.
    Please could you try to temporarily deactivate the other plugins and re-authenticate your Google Drive again? Does that resolve the issue?

    I was able to give access to UpdraftPlus with everything else disabled. So I tried to figure out which one was the issue. But none of them were a problem, so I did it again with all the plugin enabled and it worked fine, art least it appears to be authorized. I just started a backup I’ll reply back once it works or fails. Thanks

    The uploads have started showing in the Google Drive so it’s definitely authorized. But the fact that I haven’t changed anything, except the php version I guess, doesn’t make me confident that this won’t come back up.

    This all came up because UpdraftPlus was no longer authorized when it had been before. So we’ll see. Thanks for the assistance.
