Can't Authenticate on Google Drive | WordPress.org

I have settings set up just fine for Google Drive. When I click save and go back there is a message that says “Click here to authenticate your Google Drive account (you will not be able to back up to Google Drive without it).”

No other plugins are installed.

I click that and I get this error below:

400. That’s an error.
Error: redirect_uri_mismatch
Application: ******
You can email the developer of this application at: ******@****.com
The redirect URI in the request: http://www.*******.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?action=updraftmethod-googledrive-auth did not match a registered redirect URI.

I have copied and pasted the ID and Secret Code and it’s correct. So this doesn’t work.

Hi,

The redirect_uri mismatch error is coming from Google – the comparison is done at their end. So, you’d need to ask Google about it if you’re sure that it shouldn’t be sending that error.

However, I would double and triple-check… after 2.4 million downloads, every time I’ve seen this report, that revealed a setup error – you’d be the very first if not, so it’s definitely worth going over it again! (Also, make sure that you’ve saved your settings before clicking the authenticate link; and make sure no extraneous stuff is coming in if you’ve copy-pasted).

Sorry but this works perfectly with InfiniteWP. The only problem is with this plugin.
