Can't add plugins!!

    I can’t seem to add plugins to my newly installed wordpress blog! I recently bought a domain from dreamhost.
    My blog’s admin page doesn’t even give me the option of adding plugins!

    Help please!

    I can’t add a plugin either. On my admin. panel (my dashboard?) I don’t have the PLUGIN category at all. Is there some other admin panel I’m supposed to use?

    I am having the same issues with being unable to install plugins. Im beginning to think that the $30 upgrade to customize your theme is needed. But I thought by installing your wordpress scripts into your server hosting company that options such as installing plugins would be available in the wordpress admin.

    What $30 upgrade? If this relates to wordpress.com site:

    1. You cannot install plugins on any wordpress.com site.

    2. These forums are for self-hosted WordPress sites only. Please try asking your question on http://en.forums.wordpress.com/

    Finally, please post a new topic instead of tacking onto a 12 month old thread.
