Can’t add new shipping zone

Hello there,

I hope someone can help me with my shipping zone problem. I have around 40 shipping zones already that work fine. From time to time, as customers contact us and say that their particular country is not included, I add on a new shipping zone accordingly, this happens about once a month. So far I was able to do it without any problems, but when I tried recently, although the new shipping zone shows up in the backend as saved option, when trying to find that option during checkout it says ‘no shipping options were found for XXX’.

I am using Woocommerce –> Settings –> Shipping, I added the new Zone name, chose the corresponding country (one shipping option for whole country), enabled table rates, and manually input the rates, then saved them.

This is how I have done it for all past 40 shipping zones that work fine, and now I am stuck, regardless of which zone/ country I select, it shows up in the backend, but not in the shopping cart. I did clear cache and it didn’t make a difference. What can I do please? I am attaching the status report and hope someone can shed some light into this, thank you in advance.

Thank you for reaching out!

I am using Woocommerce –> Settings –> Shipping, I added the new Zone name, chose the corresponding country (one shipping option for whole country), enabled table rates, and manually input the rates, then saved them.

Is it possible that you’ve limited the shipping options to certain postal codes? To help us get a better understanding of the issue, could you please provide a screenshot of your shipping zone settings along with an example country/region? This will allow us to perform testing from our end. :‎)

Additionally, could you kindly disable the following plugin temporarily, just to ensure it’s not overriding any of WooCommerce’s default settings?

I have never made shipping depending on the zip code, it’s always the same for the whole country. It works fine for the 40 other shipping zones I already have been using, but when I start adding a new one, it doesn’t actually seem to add it on, please let me know if you can find a problem with my setup, I lost so many customers over this already because I couldn’t add the corresponding shipping method.

Sorry to know you’re losing customers because of this issue. I checked the screenshot and the in example of ‘Peru’, you have only one shipping method added (Table Rate) which is not part of WooCommerce. Therefore, when the plugin is disabled, you’ll have no shipping methods at all.

Could you please add a WooCommerce shipping method like “Flate Rate” and then try to disable the plugin?

If that doesn’t help, kindly try disabling all plugins except WooCommerce while activating the default Storefront theme.

If the problem is not present after doing so, then you know the issue was caused by a plugin conflict. You can enable plugins one by one again to identify the problematic plugin.

I’m sorry but as you pointed out now (not last time), the only shipping method there is, is the table rate. Last time you messaged, which was 9 days ago, you asked for me to disable the table rate plugin, which I did. I waited for 6 days during which we received 0 orders, because as you knew (but I didn’t), there would be no way for anyone to check out with that table rate plugin disabled. So we didn’t only lose clients the whole week from “new” countries not set up yet like Peru, but we lost absolutely every client regardless from where because even existing countries had no shipping method enabled.

When we realized that after 6 days of 0 orders, we had to enable the plugin again, since we had no idea when you would reply to us. So no, I’m sorry we can’t disable the plugin once again since we rely on it for the customers to be able to check out and we have no idea when you will reply to this ticket again, hope you understand.

I have tried to add a flat rate shipping option to Peru, and still, when trying to check out it says no shipping options available.
