Can't add an admin user via PHP My Admin

    I had a number of wordpress sites hacked this morning…i patched them with the latest version and run the upgrade script and miraculously, all the sites came back online. One thing that happened, however, is that my admin login was not able to login any longer.

    and it got me back with admin in all of my sites but one, which I cannot manually add an admin that will actually work. I’m wondering if there is any troubleshooting I could do and why this site in particular is behaving that way.

    I should also add that the site is http://www.ginopix.com and when I try to use the password recovery tool it says there is no user with that email address even though I added the user and the email address manually on the backend via PHP My Admin…

    resolved. I had 2 databases and was editing the user table in the wrong dbase 🙂
