    I have home, contact us and 4 other pages in the menu, I need to add another.
    I add it just like the others and using plugin “page links to” to add an outside url for page to goto.

    I change all the orders to make it right but the new page never shows up on the site.
    “Cruises” is the page.

    Also can I change the CTA button to different URL’s for different slider pics?

    Thanks,
    Ron

  • I figured out the page issue. I had to manually add it and now it works.

    I need answer on the CTA question please.

    Great!

    For anyone who might get similar trouble. Please refer to WordPress Menu User Guide documentation.

    To create individual button for each slide item in your site header, please follow the below steps:

    1. Install and activate the TC Custom JavaScript plugin
    2. Go To Appearance > Custom JavaScript
    3. Paste the following code into the provided box

    jQuery(function($) {

       //Define the new buttons. Delete the lines you don't need
       var button1 = '<a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">Button 1</a>'; //Slide 1
       var button2 = '<a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">Button 2</a>'; //Slide 2
       var button3 = '<a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">Button 3</a>'; //Slide 3
       var button4 = '<a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">Button 4</a>'; //Slide 4
       var button5 = '<a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">Button 5</a>'; //Slide 5

      //Hide the default button
      $('.slide-inner a').hide();

      //Add the new buttons. Delete the lines you don't need
      $( '.slide-item:nth-of-type(1) .slide-inner' ).append(button1); //Slide 1
      $( '.slide-item:nth-of-type(2) .slide-inner' ).append(button2); //Slide 2
      $( '.slide-item:nth-of-type(3) .slide-inner' ).append(button3); //Slide 3
      $( '.slide-item:nth-of-type(4) .slide-inner' ).append(button4); //Slide 4
      $( '.slide-item:nth-of-type(5) .slide-inner' ).append(button5); //Slide 5
    });

    Thanks!

    I will be able to change what each button says and where it links to right?

    The top section I replace the http part with the url of my choice and to change what the button says, change the Button 1, 2, etc to what i want it to say?

    Please take a look at this code block:

       //Define the new buttons. Delete the lines you don't need
       var button1 = '<a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">Button 1</a>'; //Slide 1
       var button2 = '<a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">Button 2</a>'; //Slide 2
       var button3 = '<a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">Button 3</a>'; //Slide 3
       var button4 = '<a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">Button 4</a>'; //Slide 4
       var button5 = '<a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">Button 5</a>'; //Slide 5

    Here you can specify the button link address by replacing the href attribute values (http://example.org). For button text, rename Button 1, Button 2, Button 3 and so on.

    Can I make it more than 5 slides? Would I just add additional lines in that same format below it?

    Thanks.

    I added that plug in and the code. then i changed the 1st button address and what button is called and updated and nothing happened

    It seems no matter what i do in that nothing changes. All the links work just like they did originally. What am I doing wrong?

    Also I want to make each button click open in a new window, how to do that in this?

    Thanks,
    Ron

    > Can I make it more than 5 slides?

    I am sorry it is only limited to 5 maximum. Adding more extra slide items is not an easy task. It requires a lot of code additions which considered as a complex task. You would need to hire a WordPress coder.

    > All the links work just like they did originally. What am I doing wrong?

    If found the code wasn’t pasted properly. The last line was missed.

    });

    Please take a look at the complete code in my previous reply once again.

    Regards,
    Kharis

    That was it, Thanks!
