Can't access website?

    I am having problems accessing my website. I usually just add /wp-admin/ after my website link but it is not working and I can’t figure out how to get to the log in page. Any help is appreciated.

    Assuming your URL is http://sugarplumprairie.com/ I see what you mean.

    Try and rename the file .htaccess in your root directory (often /public_html/ ) to something like test.htaccess and see if you are able to get access. You can quickly rename test.htaccess back to .htaccess if your site stops working (Permalinks will likely stop working).

    Also check for an .htaccess file in /wp-admin/

    Alternatively, you can follow this:

    especially disabling plugins by removing them from the /wp-content/plugins/ folder, though you probably want to rename each plugin, so you can quickly activate it again if your site stops working.
