• I downloaded a website template from Template Monster today. After following their documentation I uploaded one of their zip files and my site went down. I couldn’t get into my site and on the page there was an error message that said:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tgmpa_load_bulk_installer() (previously declared in /home4/adamcheye/public_html/wp-content/plugins/our-team-enhanced/admin/class/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php:2931) in /home4/adamcheye/public_html/wp-content/themes/CherryFramework/includes/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on line 2218

What’s even more alarming is that I got a phone call right after from (800) 403-5831 that said my website has been hacked. Template monster support said they have no idea who called from that number. Could that be from WordPress or my web host? Has that happened to anyone here?

Anyway, I started a live chat with them and after giving my c panel and WordPress admin info and some waiting i was able to get into my dashboard. They started walking me through which zip files to load. After installing the cherryframework zip file into through Themes>Appearance>Add New as directed by the support team my site went down again with the same error message.

They made a ticket for me and offered to install the template at no charge – will take up to 24 hours. I just wanted to know if the problem persisted (in the case of your WordPress site being inaccessible) would uninstalling and reinstalling on your web host clear the problem away and allow you to start over again?

Has anyone here gone through anything like this? Could it be something I did? Would uploading the wrong zip file ever collapse your WordPress site and make it think you got hacked?

    Thanks.

I contacted my web host who reset it to default. So now I can access it. Now I have to wait for the template support team to install it onto my server for me. they said within the next 24 hours. Web host said it looks like an issue with coding, particularly the plugin cherry framework.
