Can't access my WP admin

I just got bought an SSL Certificate and a Dedicated IP address for my domain. I then thought I was supposed to change the general settings word press address and site address URL’s from http:// to https://. But when I did this now I can no longer enter my wordpress admin. I seem to still be logged in somehow because there is still a control panel at the top of the page with wordpress drop-down admin menus and my profile, but when I click on any of those it says “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” Help! What do I do???
