Can't access my wordpress admin area

    Theme had an update – ran it and now can’t access the admin side of the website at all now.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_theme() in /home/shercon/public_html/wp-content/themes/colorway/functions/theme-options.php on line 11

    Hello there I have exactly the same problem for my website http://www.iltelaio.gr.it

    I activated Colorway theme and then I had the problem…

    But this problem comes up when I use Google Chrome, instead Explorer gives another error HTTP 500

    Please help :((

    As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic. Your problem – despite any similarity in symptoms – is likely to be completely different.

    You are using the older version of the WordPress, If you update your WordPress to the latest version, your issue would be resolved automatically.

    To regain the access to the Dashboard again, open wp-content/themes/ directory using ftp and rename the “colorway” theme directory to something else, it would deactivate the theme.

    After regaining the access to the Dashboard, update your WordPress to the latest version and your issue would be resolved automatically.
