• Hi,

I am trying to build a WordPress.org site for a client that already has a site running. I have installed WordPress with the “one click install” button on the Plesk hosting program.

I did the custom installation to install the new WordPress.org site in a subdirectory. Then I clicked “install” and everything went fine. But then when I clicked on the admin interface button (which directed me to “mydomain.com/subdirectory/wp-login.php”), the page opens blank with this written on it:

    “Unavailable
This service is not available to this website. Please contact your provider for details on obtaining access to this service.”

Is there something I can do to fix that problem before I contact my Hosting Provider?

It don’t think so, that error could mean a lot of things, but most of them your hosting provider needs to fix as it’s usually a server configuration issue.

If you really do want to try something before contacting them, I’d suggest a manual installation instead, and to use a subdomain (newsite.example.com) rather than a subdirectory: https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress
