Cannot upload pictures

    Hi,
    I am trying to personalize my blog, but everytime i try to post a picture it gives me this error message: Unable to create directory wp-content/blogs.dir/4/files/2012/12. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
    How can i fix this problem?
