Cannot update security rules

    I have several websites on different servers and I have encountered the problem “Cannot download security rules: connection error.

    Could you help me to see what the problem is?

    If you go to “NinjaFirewall > Security Rules” and click the “Check for updates now” button, do you see any error ?

    I don’t see the error when confirming the update, but in the error log in the dashboard, it shows “view error log” and when I click on it, it shows “[08/Feb/23:08:41:57 +0000] Cannot download security rules: connection error. Will try again later Will try again later. “

    It looks fine, the firewall can connect to the remote site to download the security rules.
    If the firewall can’t connect, it writes the incident to its error log. This can happen from time to time.
