Cannot seem to get it to work

    I think this plugin is what I have been looking for, for a couple of years. I wanted to create folders, a script that reads the filename and uses it as a caption, and something that is FTP’able – as I have thousands of images in many categories that I want to get online.

    I believe I have read the directions carefully but no joy. First I create a folder inside the uploads folder as you mentioned. The folder name is “ancient”. I gave it and the cache folder inside 777 permissions.

    I have tried the following local paths to no effect (using preview page).

    /public_html/wp-content/uploads/ancient
    public_html/wp-content/uploads/ancient
    /wp-content/uploads/ancient
    wp-content/uploads/ancient
    /uploads/ancient
    uploads/ancient

    I read where it can’t be in a subfolder so I even moved to the root of the server, but still cannot get any images to appear.

    I am missing something, can you see from my explanation above?

    wp-content/uploads/ancient is the correct path, if you upload your file in this directory. if the cache directory is created inside the folder, then the path is correct.

    Thank you. I did get it to work on another trial site.
    I came back to my original site and created a new page with a different name. The first one was !test. Perhaps the exclamation point in the title changed something.

    Your path directions were correct. The cached created itself as you said.

    I do have another issue now and perhaps you have a simple answer. Below is the url, but as you can see the images seem to have a step down alignment.

    Columns is set to “auto”

    For me, the authors help and response time is more important than the product. If you have a pro version, I will take a look.

    The alignment problem is because your pictures have different sizes. Set both width and height in shortcode to fix the problem.
