Try disabling mod_security on your server.
I just ran into this problem myself.
Try disabling mod_security on your server.
Are you referring to the PHP settings?
mod_security is Apache module. I mean it’s settings.
I’m on a shared server with no access to Mod_Sec control. What is causing the Mod_Sec trigger? Is there a way of making the plugin mod_security friendly?
mod_security can have completely different rules which nobody can provide. For instance, I even met situation when WordPress couldn’t work due to some rules that make unavailable loading some it’s file.
I am not able to access Mod_Sec from my cPanel, though a quick request to the support team explaining the situation and it was resolved.
“I have disabled ModSecurity rules ##340464 and 340465 for the account”
And it’s up and running as it should.
Thank you, madnhain for the explanation.
It is applicable for everyone who encounters that issue.
