Cannot receive email notification

    We are using Google Clouds Server. Since Google has blocked outgoing 587 port. We need to use GMAIL API for sending email from the website via plugin called “GMAIL “SMTP”.

    However, we found that there is no email notification when the GMAPL API has been enabled, whereas we can receive email notification when the GMAIL API has been disabled.

    May i know how to solve under this situation?

    Hi @biglegson,
    Thanks for your message.

    I’d recommend installing and setting up the Post SMTP plugin to see if this helps. It comes with an email log so you can see if emails are being sent correctly, but not being received and allows you to configure your site with the Gmail API.
