I inherited a WP site, deanwhitlock.com. I moved the db and wp-content to my host. DNS has long since changed and the site displays properly. I can make changes to pages in the WP editors. Using the Editor to change a page, about-dean, for example, saves the changes within WP when I press Update and those changes are still there in the editor after logging out and back in. But I cannot see the changes in Preview, nor do they publish to the site (the published date does not change and the changes are not visible on the site). I have no idea why not.

wp-admin, wp-content, and the folders containing each page are at the root of public_html. The database lists the site URL and Home as “http://deanwhitlock.com”

    Thanks,
    Paul

Now I am even more confused. I can add a new page, which I called test. I can publish it, I can also preview changes, and I can view it, either by going to http://deanwhitlock.com/test or by clicking “test” in the menubar. But I can’t find that page anywhere. Using cPanel file manager search, there is no directory or file named “test”. Using an ftp client, same result. Yet the page menubar shows that it links to http://deanwhitlock.com/test. What?
