Cannot login to WordPress

Hi There
I’ve just upgraded a client’s website to 4.0 and it seems to be operating OK, however when I try to login into the website it’s giving me this message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 491520 bytes) in /home/hx8c9bph/public_html/website/wp-admin/menu.php on line 225

Ive also tried to add the line `ini_set(‘memory_limit’, ‘2226M’);’ to the config file, but it still will not let me in.

If anyone could help me out on this, it would be greatly appreciated.
