Cannot Login from Custom Login URL

Hi.

I am running WordPress 3.8.1 with BuddyPress 1.9.2 and the latest version (2.3) of this plugin.

I use the BuddyBar BP widget for a sidebar login form. I can log in successfully using this widget login form.

I cannot login from the custom URL I have set. When I click ‘Log In’, the page seems to reload the same URL. I would expect to be redirected to the dashboard if logging in as admin, or at least to the homepage, or something. The login page seems to just reload itself – with no warnings or errors shown – however, if I go back to my homepage, I am in fact logged in. I can log out no problem too, so the only problem is the fact I cannot log in from the custom set login URL.

Anybody else? As far as I know, none of the plugins I am using customise the login functionality, only the registration (BuddyPress and New User Approve). Disabling these plugins makes no difference, however. I can log in from the wp-login.php page with no problems when I disable the Rename wp-login.php plugin.
