Hi @purissimo !
Glad to hear you like the plugin but sad to hear the latest version stopped working.
I did some security related changes in the latest version, mostly based on automated feedback from the wordpress.org security team. Perhaps that did change something.
The tree works fine on my setups, so there must be something that is different between our setups. Can you tell me what PHP version you have and what plugins you have installed? Also, any change I could test login to your website to view the problem myself? If so you can find my contact info here: https://simple-history.com/contact/ (I am the developer of that plugin too).
Hi Pär,
Thanks for your fast reply!
First of all I’d like to give you the requested Information. Maybe you can diagnose, what the cause of the issue can be:
PHP 8.3.31
Plugins:
Autoptimize, BBQ Firewall, Cache Enabler, CMS Tree Page View, CompressX – AVIF & WebP Converter, Disable Blogging, Duplicate Page, Elementor, Email Address Encoder, Enable Media Replace, Event Organiser, Everest Forms, Folders,
Everest Forms, Independent Analytics, Kadence Security Basic, Modula, My Sticky Bar, Page scroll to id, Phoenix Media Rename, Smart Custom 404 Error Page, WP STAGING.
If this doesn’t help I will send you a temporary login link per email.
Thank you for your help
PS I had a website left without updated version of CMS Tree Page View and it displayed the page tree properly.
Hi Pär,
It’s me again. In the meantime I found out the interfering plugin: Folders (https://wordpress.org/plugins/folders/) which I’m using approximately since the time of the latest update of CMS Tree Page View for creating folders in the media library. This plugin can also be used for pages, which I haven’t tried so far, as with the free version no sub-folders can be created.
So will I have to decide, which one of the two plugins to delete?
Kind regards,
Gabriele
