Cannot insert correct name for page

    Hello,
    I noticed there is a problem with the permalink that WordPress keeps inserting even though I have tried many times to correct it.
    I need to get rid of the -2 after the correct title of my page which is Mindscaping
    According to a guy who I asked to help me this is because WordPress does not recognize the word Mindscaping.
    I find that information to be troubling because there must be many words that WordPress does not know yet WordPress needs to accept there are many words/titles it does not know so the system should be able to accept that the owners and creators of a website know what they are doing.

    How can my problem be corrected?

    The issue is NOT that word; the issue is there is another post that has the slug “mindscaping”, so when you add this page, it appends a 2. Do you have an in image with that name?

    When I try to access your site, I get a looping error.

    Thank you very much for the clarification.
    I do have my Danish counterpart that is called /da/mindscaping
    It is not a problem with the other pages that have same title such as eft and /da/eft

    NOw I have an even bigger problem. Cannot log into my website since this forum seems to take over my wordpress access. I am not a happy camper now
    Anybody know what I can do to solve this mess?

    This forum is in no way connected to your WP site, so please explain what you mean.

    I figured out how to fix the problem that I could not get into my wordpress site. Looking at my pages I realize that it is Polylang and Polylang Slug that must be creating the problems. It did not initially do that when I created the website but since I last updated my plugins it now creates -2 for all pages which title ends the same discarding that IS a distinktion between the two languages

    My question is – do I even need Polylang considering I have already translated the pages myself that need to be translated?…………

    I have no experience with that, so can’t answer that question.
