Cannot embed videos

Hi I’ve tried embedding a video file the following way:

<embed src=”http://ilaughdev/videos/YR_promo.mp4&#8243; width=”400″ height=”300″ autoplay=”false” controller=”true” loop=”false” ></embed>
</div>

However, whenever I try putting this HTML code in a post or a Page and save it, everything between the <div> tags disappear. Can anyone tell me what’s going on?
