• I’m working with WordPress 5.0.2
    Safari version is 12.0.2

From what I can tell, everything else works. BUT, when I go to edit a new or existing page/blog the editor comes up with a white screen showing nothing.

On Chrome (running on a Mac) and Edge (running on Win10) things work fine.

Guess this is more of a bug report than a support request, although I would be VERY interested in knowing when this is fixed as I prefer working in Safari.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Have you tried changing themes to a default twenty* theme to see if it is theme related?

That’s a good question. We use the Twenty Twelve theme which we recently downloaded the update to. Do you think the problem might be there?

First step of debugging WP is to switch themes and deactivate plugins. This tests CORE WP to see if the issue persists. If it does still persist next step is to re-install WP to make sure your install is not corrupt. IF the problem is gone, switch back to your theme with no plugins and test. Then activate plugins one-by-one to see if problem comes back –

Jay, thanks for the advice. I will give this a shot this weekend. I will post my results here.
