Hello Giouli,
Disabling the plugin will not revert price of products. You should make all the Discount amount to ‘0’, save it and then disable the plugin.
Let me know if you need any further help.
Yes i found it. Thank you!!
The other problem i have is that i have sales on some products.
I set the amount to ‘0’ for the category who includes that products and all the other categories i need to 15%.
The result is that the categories set to 0 keeps their sale prices but disappears the “sale” sign. The other categories set to 15 with the plugin work perfect.@vidishp I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.
Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
@giouli The product should be assigned to only one category when you apply discount. After assigning discounts, you can assign product to multiple categories. Let me know if this helps!!
all of my products are assigned to one category. for example i have one category and subcategories
for example each one of my categories is like the follow scheme:
*category a
*subcategory a.1
*subcategory a.1.1
*product 1
*product 2
*subcategory a.1.2
*product 3
*product 4
*subcategory a.2
*subcategory a.2.1
*product 5
*product 6
*subcategory a.2.2
*product 7
*product 8i set category a and subcategories to 15%
and category b and subcategories have sale price that i had set in the past manually inside of each product.
The problem is that the sale sign and the regular price disappeared from products in category b and just shows the sale prices.
when i set back the plugin to 0 and disable it the problem remains and i have to set regular prices again for the category b and subcategories.
hope that make it as clear as i can.
sorry for the big message.thank you!
Hi giouli,
I understand your point. What I suggest you is, you can go to Product list screen in admin. and the products which belong to category b”Quick Edit” those product and remove from it.
Once you assign discounts to the categories which you want to apply, then you can add those products back to Category B.
However, I will surely plan this in next release, whether user wants to apply discount on category – give this option to user.
ok i will try it! thank you very much!!
Sure. So, marking this as resolved for now.
