Are these all-day events? If so, are you deleting the date, and then updating the post?
If that is the case, then I just fixed a bug that rebuilt recurring events on all-day events when you update the post, which could be relevant here.

Hi Joe
These are not all day events they are events that are around 1h in length. Which happen on 5 week rotation until end of august. See image below.

I’ve just open the entry on screen shot and another one to check and noticed it says 1 week not 5 as it should be although the entries are showing as 1 every 5 weeks.
I’ve only just realised that i can scheduled dates and remove it there. That actually works. For your information I was trying when events are show in a calendar style view and click on the entry then the edit button. choosing delete date which does not work.
I’ve also tested how my entries where originally setup where they had just a start time. That also deletes fine as above but it does not work when clicking delete date from edit button though delete series does.

Just a further update, if in the events list i click the delete button that appears below the title in red it does nothing. If i click the check box and then do bulk actions and delete it does remove it.
The red ‘Delete’ link in the event row does not immediately delete the event; it asks for confirmation. At the top of the screen, there should be an alert that asks you to confirm deleting the event.

Joe I definitely don’t get any confirmation at the top of the screen for information i’m using wpzoom inspiro premium theme. See video below of what happens.
