Cannot delete logs

    To assist with debugging a problem I changed Logging in Settings > Advanced to Everything. Having resolved the issue, I changed the setting back to Errors Only. My log is now 359 pages long and I want to delete it.

    If I apply a date range to cover all the messages in the log and then click Clear, nothing happens. The log remains at 359 pages.

    How do I delete all the messages in the logs?
