Cannot Create GD Image

Upload function and resizing is fine with me. However, when I hit publish, the error “Cannot create a new GD image” popups but the post does get published though.

I’ve tried searching the forum for solution and asked for help from my provider but it seems there isn’t one at the moment as far as i’ve searched.
