• Greetings.

I just installed Two Factor on our site at EDN.la.

It worked fine whilst I was still in the WP-Admin. I enabled it, scanned the QR code with 1Password, entered and verified the code. I also enabled and downloaded the recovery codes.

I then logged out in order to test it.

I was unable to click into or type anything into the code field.

In order to regain access, I had to log in to our host and rename the Two Factor plugin directory.

I’m using Edge and Windows 11 and need this working.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

    Cheers.

    Hi @michloiw

Sorry for the trouble. I can’t reproduce this from the description, so I need a few more details to narrow it down:

    • WordPress, Two Factor, and PHP versions
    • Any JavaScript errors in the browser console (F12 → Console) on that screen, plus any failed requests in the Network tab
    • Whether it also happens in other browsers like Edge, Chrome or Firefox
    • Results of a conflict test: all other plugins deactivated and a default theme active. Custom login pages, security plugins that modify wp-login.php, and caching or JS optimization plugins are the usual culprits

Thank you very much for your continued help in order to improve two-factor.
