Cannot change Admin Email

    Hello,

    I have tried updating the admin email for my site through the Users section and through settings, but both have been unsuccessful.

    The issue seems to be that WordPress is not following through with sending the confirmation email to the newly requested email for the update.

    I have seen a prior unresolved post of similar issue that has been closed, so I am hoping this will get resolved & looked at.
