Cannot apply set of fields

I have entered a set of fields and saved them.
I have ticked my desired groups.
I have even added the bpge template files to my theme.
Whatever I do, I can’t get BPGE to display anything on my group.
When I click apply from network admin I get the following message:
Unfortunately, there was an error while applying this set of fields. Please try again a bit later or recreate the set from scratch. Be aware, that re-applying this set will double fields for those groups that were successful.
Whenever I go to frontend group admin, nothing appears in regards to BPGE.
I’m using the Buddyboss Boss theme.
Any ideas?
