• Hey really hoping someone can help me, Im not very tech savy and after lots of issues with the site already I now have another to add to the list. I installed wp fastest cache and it had a terrible affect on my divi theme, messed around with the layout etc, it would not let me deactivate or turn cache off, the settings just would never save. I went into my files via filezilla found the plugin file for fastest cache and just deleted the whole thing. After about 20 minutes the sight returned to normal however I cannot deactivate or activate plugins, it tells me thats its deactivated if i select one but it doesnt atcually do it and stays active. The wp fastest cache has gone from plugins but its now affected this. I didnt have any problem with any previous plugins so if was this plugin.

Also a message in the plugin section of wordpress “The plugin wp-fastest-cache/wpFastestCache.php has been deactivated due to an error: Plugin file does not exist”
seems to be stuck there and doesnt go, please help someone!

Any help I would very much apreciate it

Hi, thank you for that however ive been told because i have completely removed it from the files under plugins there is no help there. WordPress itself is not allowing me to do anything in the back end, I really need some help anyone?

Try manually install WP Fastest Cache in the backend and then go to the settings of WP Fastest Cache and delete all cache and minified css.

Thanks Matthew I did try this but I can’t install plugins either also I did try deleting cache and turning off settings when the plugin was installed but it just would save the settings it would go back to being on when I clicked back in the settings page

WP Fastest Cache still should know about this issue.

Do you have a backup of the website before this happened?
