Cannot access my dashboard

Help! I can’t access my WordPress blog (www.lipstickandbaguettes.com) because I can’t remember my username or password. I’ve tried entering the URL with both the wp-login and admin tails, to no effect. Instead I get a message that the document cannot be found; no error code. I’ve also tried every username/password combination I can think of without success.
I can pull the blog up and all of the content is there – but I can’t access the dashboard. I know the admin code, but the warnings about using codex to get the login information was rather intimidating. How do I find my username and password?
PS – I don’t know which version of WordPress I have because I can’t access the dashboard. 🙁 And if I can’t access the dashboard, I’m not sure if I can download the latest version without really messing everything up.

How do I access the Admin Panel? It’s been a long time since I’ve used WP and I can’t remember and I’m weak on computer lingo. I was deleriously happy when DOS was dead and Basic was king. Sad, but true.
If I need to go through MySQL, I’d have to get there via my host (DreamHost), correct?

I would recommend trying the FTP method – you can easily set up FTP access with DH.

That makes sense. now for the “duh” question. I already have CuteFTP installed – although I haven’t used it in ages – can I sue that? Your patience is appreciated.

I’m not familiar with it, but it looks to be a basic FTP client, so it should be fine. You will need to get your FTP access info from your DH account: http://wiki.dreamhost.com/FTP

Hello,
Mistakenly i went to my wordpress dashboard settings and i set http://http://www.online-work.com.au instead of http://www.online-work.com.au in the field of site url and now the username and password of my site is not working. what can i do now?
