If you could also add a read more or continue reading link, that would be great, since I have all my posts set up with the ‘more’ option in the wordpress editing window, but it doesn’t work on your current excerpts. For now, I had to go back to twenty-ten to get the whole photo on each excerpt and the continue reading link, but I will immediately activate yours once it’s updated. 🙂
fervillz, I just realized; all you have to do is make your beautiful theme work with the wordpress “more” option in the editor window, so we can choose where our excerpts cut off with a read more or continue reading link, which comes with the more option. Whenever I try a new theme, the front page excerpts always cut off where I placed the “more” line. 🙂
I have the same problem like lismich! I love your theme fervillz, but I need the “more” option, therefore my question: when can we expect the next update?

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this, fervillz, but it’s still not syncing with my ‘MORE’ (continue reading) cut off. My ‘MORE’ is inserted a few sentences under the top photo of each post, but I’m my excerpt is still showing as just a few lines of text with ellipses (…) instead of a continue reading link.
I have created an option in dashboard->appearance->sosimple. There are lots of options there. Select the option ‘More tag’ in ‘Excerpt Type’ and hit SAVE CHANGES.

But how do I remove the tags under the home page excerpts? Also, it turns out that your theme is conflicting with Wordfence Live traffic and blocked IPs (won’t load), and a few Jetpack options like related posts. Is there a way this can be fixed?
send me your plugins in my email here fervillz@gmail.com so I can test it with the theme. Also have you tried activating other themes? Does the plugin works?
Hi, fervillz. I sent you the list of plugins. The only other theme I used with all of these plugins was twenty-ten, and all of the plugins in the list worked.

Hi, fervillz, Happy New Year. I downloaded the zip, but I won’t be able to install and activate for a few days because there’s an issue that needs to resolved on my blog. I will get back to you (and donate) as soon as I install and activate it and see if everything is working plugin wise 🙂
