    We have a job website. We want to alert job seekers every time we post a job. We want the job seeker to get only alerts when there is a job in their state. For example, we post a job in California. We want the job seeker who chose California jobs in the sign up form to get the email alert. Is this possible? I am assuming that I have to install the Email Subscribers Advanced Form.

    @rebob987,

    Yes, it is possible using both – Email Subscribers & Email Subscribers Advanced Form.

    So if we are posting a job in the WprdPress backend, is there an option in the post settings to send a person an email of that post? Similar to checking off a Category in the post settings. Is it something like that? Before we install the plug ins, we want to see how much work is involved in sending the emails. If it is just checking a box in the post setting, then that is perfect.

    @rebob987,

    You can create different post categories for your cities (for example, California) and then provide that as option in your widget using Email Subscribers Advanced Form so people can select their cities while subscribing.

    That way, when you post a job for a city (you will select post category as city), only those people will get notified who belong to that category.

    Ok. Thanks. I will try both out, and then report back to this thread if I have anymore questions.
